Marina Hoermanseder AW 14 London Fashion Week
As I told you in my last post, I had the pleasure of sitting front row at the Marina Hoermanseder runway show at Freemansons’ Hall! A main reason why I was so happy to have great seats, is because I was able to get good pictures of her pieces and I absolutely loved her collection …
Marina Hoermanseder AW 14 LFW
On top you can see my favourite looks and as you can see the collection had a very edgy warrior feel to it. Althought there were a lot of leather, harsh angels, buckels and stiff corsets, the looks still remained feminine. She also incorporated a lot of sheer fabrics and soft colours, therefore the collection looked really cohesive and harmonious. In Marina Hoermanseders collection you can see a slightly different approach to autumn winter fashion than what you saw from Ong Oaj Pairam or John Rocha. Their collection were even more feminine and more played on feminine silouettes. I was always a fan of warrior looks and at the same time soft silouettes, so I personal will use all 3 of the collections as inspirations for my aw14 wardrobe: Feminine, Romantic Warrior!
